2022 Todd Shelburg

This year's recipient has 35 years of continuous ACTIVE involvement in Sioux Falls and the South Dakota LGBTQ+ Community.

He has organized countless events for multiple organizations in many different venues throughout the years.

He has competed and won in local and national drag competitions.
Having most recently won the title of SD Ultimate Entertainer in 2019.

“In 1991 was on the cover of the Argus Leader, causing a huge ruckus that lead to many people canceling their subscriptions and numerous hateful letters to the editor. Going public, he gave a pretty face and introduced the public to what had been a controversial and underground activity and often hidden gay community.”
