I grew up in central South Dakota and as a lifelong South Dakotan, I've always had a desire to see a better life for LGBTQIA2S people in the state. In 2021 I moved back to Sioux Falls with my partner, and I started with SEPSA in 2022 in the bowling league. I quickly became friends with many other SEPSA members and fell in love with the organization.

Seeing the Sioux Falls area grow ideologically makes me very happy. Organizations like SEPSA are vital to that growth.

Why did you join the executive committee?
Knowing a number of the SEPSA board members gave me a great idea of what the organization was about. Additionally, I have extensive experience serving on nonprofit boards and operations and thought my skills could be useful. Not to mention - where else can you go and have this much fun?
